Primordial Soup – evolution strategy game
In Primordial Soup you start as a single organism in a living soup that grows on its own. You decide where it spreads, whom it attacks and how it evolves. DNA goes into an open evolution tree with eight branches – metabolism, growth, armor, poison, agility, immune system, light and spores. Spores carry you over rocks and enemies, while hydrothermal vents and light zones are the contested hot spots. You win by holding 80 percent of the soup or by being the last survivor.
There are two maps: the quick Tide Pool with 8 organisms for a 10 to 15 minute round, and the Great Soup with 17 organisms for long matches. In multiplayer, up to 6 people plus AI organisms play together, in a quick match with Elo rating or privately with friends. Primordial Soup runs on computers and on phones in landscape.
